Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gassit mobile app, website, customer portal, and related ordering and delivery services (the "Services"), operated by Gassit Corporate ("Gassit", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. Business and distributor accounts must be operated by someone authorised to act for that business.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login and device secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us at support@gassit.io if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraud or abuse.

Orders, delivery, and pickup

You can place orders through the app, the customer portal, WhatsApp, a Gassit QR code, or your ordering link. All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We will confirm details such as cylinder size, quantity, address, and timing. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by demand, traffic, weather, or other factors. Where pickup is offered, you are responsible for collecting your order from the stated location.

Safety: LPG is a hazardous, flammable product. You agree to handle, store, and use cylinders and equipment safely and in line with any instructions and applicable regulations.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown at the time of order and may change. You agree to pay the amount shown for your order, including any applicable delivery fees. Payments may be made through the payment methods offered in the Services, processed by our third-party payment partners. For business and distributor accounts, additional credit, billing, and settlement terms may apply as agreed with us.

Business and distributor accounts

Business accounts may be offered credit terms, consolidated billing, and statements. Distributor accounts may buy at wholesale terms for resale. Specific commercial terms (credit limits, payment periods, pricing) are set out in your account arrangement with us and form part of these Terms. Overdue balances may attract charges as stated in your account terms.

Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched or fulfilled where the Services allow. Refunds, where due, are made using your original payment method or as a credit to your Gassit wallet, at our reasonable discretion and subject to applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to interfere with their operation, gaining unauthorised access, using them for unlawful purposes, or reselling gas obtained through a consumer account without authorisation.

Intellectual property

The Services, including the Gassit name, logo, content, and software, are owned by Gassit or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gassit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
